Welcome!  C4L is the rebirth of a little website first launched in 2001.  Back then, C4L stood for Christ for Life, there were three regular writers, and at least one regular reader.  The original C4L was supposed to be a grass-roots magazine for Christian youth with articles about music, movies, and culture.  The original C4L featured CD reviews, devotionals, and in-depth Bible studies.  Unfortunately, the original C4L became archived only a few months after its inception.  Eventually, the web server became obsolete and the site vanished.

Today, C4L is re-launching with much the same mission as before.  This is a non-profit magazine for today's Christians and a place for new writers to showcase their talent.  Hopefully, with God's will, the site will last much longer than the six months the original site survived.

The world we live in is an exciting place.  While prophesy is fulfilled at an alarming rate, so to is the gospel being told in places we couldn't imagine only a few years ago.  Who could have predicted that The Passion of the Christ would stake it's claim as one of the highest-grossing movies of all time?  Or that the soundtrack would mark significant sales?  Or that church attendance would rise as the result of a movie?  Or that the most popular book series in history would be a series of Christian novels about the rapture?  Or that Christian music would be played on mainstream radio stations alongside the most popular secular artists?

God is truly working a wondrous work in the world today, using the talents of artists to make the gospel known to a cynical public.  What's more, evangelical, Bible-believing churches all across America are experiencing revival--and around the world, in places like China and the Middle East, countless converts are coming to Christ every day.

Don't get discouraged, no matter how bad the doom and gloom on the daily news gets.  We have a hope that supercedes the news of this world, that exceeds the powers of the nations.  Our hope is in Christ, in His power to sustain us, to give us strength to live.
